At St Anthony’s we use and promote new and emerging technologies to support and enrich student learning. A wide range of technology is used to help develop 21st century learning skills in all students. Along with all Wollongong Diocese schools, we typically use Apple products.

MacBook notebooks are utilised across the school to enhance and support learning in various Key Learning Areas. The MacBooks are used by students for research purposes, enrichment tasks, communication and for the presentation of new learning. All classrooms have a number of MacBooks on hand.

St Anthony’s also has a number of iPads available for use in the classrooms. iPads are typically used for such activities as Maths, Literacy or other assorted Apps that support learning.

All classrooms at St Anthony’s have an Interactive whiteboards (IWB). The interactive whiteboards are used to introduce new concepts, consolidate learning and support learning intervention.

All students and parents are given an Acceptable User Agreement form to sign in order to use technology in our school. This forms also gives permission to use the internet and allow photos to be used on our school website and/or local media.
