Principal's Message

square donWelcome to St Anthony's Primary School, Picton, NSW, Australia. St Anthony's Primary school is a K-6 co-educational Catholic Primary school and caters for girls and boys aged from 5 to 12 years of age.

The school is part of the Parish of St. Anthony's of Padua, Picton and is managed by the Catholic Education Office in the Diocese of Wollongong. The role of our school is to be an education agent within the Catholic Church and thus, live out our mission to extend the Kingdom of God.

St Anthony's has a long history, being established on the present site in 1880 by the Sisters' of St Joseph. We have a long tradition of wonderful parent participation in a wide range of school activities.

At St. Anthony's we believe that all members of our school community are blessed with unique gifts, talents and experiences. It is in sharing these with each other that we are all enriched as we work together to meet the needs of our children

I hope that this website will serve as a reference for the day to day running of our school. More importantly, I hope that our website  articulates something of the culture of who we are and what we believe as a Catholic community of faith and learning.
